Vince Mussehl

Vince is the Director for WisTech Open, a consortium project of the Wisconsin Technical Colleges charged with the creation and maintenance of Wisconsin’s open textbooks to promote student success and affordability for technical college students. He previously served as library director at Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) with concentrations in customer service, the student experience, and student resource affordability - including OER. As a champion of open education, Vince has led the Affordable Learning committee at CVTC and saw a student savings of over $10 million since 2019. He facilitates faculty professional development surrounding open education and has consulted with several institutions on student affordability. Vince also serves as adjunct faculty in the business programs at CVTC, using open and affordable resources whenever possible.

Vince is a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Parkside (MBA), University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (MLIS), University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire (BA), and - most notably - Chippewa Valley Technical College (AAS).
