Steel Wagstaff

Since 2018, I've worked for Pressbooks, a Canadian company that makes open source book publishing software. Prior to joining Pressbooks, I worked for a decade at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, supporting Open Education publishing, working as an instructional designer and faculty consultant, and teaching English classes. I earned a Ph.D. in English (Literary Studies) and a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies. I love visiting libraries, playing pickup soccer and basketball, relaxing in a hammock with a good book of poems, eating the abundant wild fruits of the Pacific Northwest, and being a dad.
