Agata Guskaroska is an Assistant Professor, Teaching Stream, at the University of Toronto, where she supports communication and professional language development for engineering students. She began her career teaching English to young musicians in her home country of North Macedonia, which sparked her interest in language for specific purposes and professional development with the use of technology. Over more than 15 years, Agata has taught learners and professionals worldwide, developing online courses, MOOCs, and open educational resources (OERs) that have reached over 100,000 educators and students worldwide. Her work bridges language development, engineering communication, and educational technology. She currently serves as Book Review Editor for the English for Specific Purposes journal and the Chair of SPLIS (TESOL’s Speech, Pronunciation, and Listening Interest Section).
