Rachel Becker

Rachel is a Copyright and Open Educational Resources Librarian at Madison Area Technical College in Madison, WI. She is also an EdD student at Johns Hopkins University with a research focus on using OER as a tool to increase sense of belonging and economic mobility for historically underserved student populations. Currently, Rachel is on the CCCOER executive council and serves on several other Wisconsin statewide committees. Her work is deeply connected with the building a stronger future for more students to achieve their professional and personal goals without textbook costs acting as a barrier. In her very little spare time Rachel enjoys doing art, creative writing, and advocating for fellow young adult cancer survivors.
